How does the SAMOS x Linnworks integration work?

When you connect SAMOS and Linnworks you can transform your online shop into truly passive income. Your online store generates a sale and then SAMOS and Linnworks communicate all the crucial information to each other, updating shipment and customer details, generating a label and shipping without any input from you.

If you’re an existing SAMOS customer, all you need to do is download the app and follow these instructions.

  1. If prompted, enter your Linnworks account details (email address and password).
  2. Agree to the terms and conditions.
  3. Wait for the ‘Application installed’ message to appear.

To set up the app:

  1. In the Linnworks portal, click the Shipping icon in the menu and select Integrations.
  2. Click + Add Integrations. A new window titled Shipping Integrations will appear.
  3. Type ‘SAMOS’ in the search bar and select ‘SAMOS Connect’.
  4. Click the Integrate button.
  5. Enter an account name. This is for your own reference and will help you identify the integration within the system. You can use ‘SAMOS’ if you’re not sure what to enter here.
  6. Enter your SAMOS Connect login details.
  7. Select the Linnworks store you wish you use this integration with.
  8. Enter your general parcel description for your store (e.g., ‘parcel containing shoes’).
  9. Choose if you want to enable test mode to use a ‘test’ watermark on any labels you generate until you’re ready to try it out for real.
  10. Setup is complete. You may now add services (such as SAMOS).

If you wish to change settings or there are any issues with your shipments (for example, missing customer details), you’ll need to update information within the app. Otherwise, just sit back and let business take care of itself!
