“When The Grooming Clinic first started, we could pretty much send anything, anywhere. It was so easy. But when Brexit happened, that all changed. During the transition period, it was chaos and parcels took up to three weeks to arrive.

Eventually, we had to remove the delivery duty paid (DDP) option from our site to avoid the hold ups and revert to a delivered-at-place (DAP) model – so customers were billed taxes and charges when their parcel arrived.

Obviously, we then started to see a drop off in customer satisfaction and demand. We got a lot more complaints, a lot more returns, and a lot of parcels were refused. It was make or break time for us, so I thought, ‘Right, we need to get this sorted.’

We racked our brains for a long time, and then after a bit of digging on google, we found SAMOS.”
