“When my husband Andrew and I\n started TIC CC, we were both looking\n for something different in our lives.\n We’d been working in the corporate\n sector for a long time, and although\n we’d enjoyed our jobs, something was\n missing – a sense of purpose.
\n\nWe both loved cycling and thought\n that rather than using bikes as\n vehicles for escape, we could use\n them as vehicles for change. So, we\n made it our mission to design\n performance clothing for the\n sustainably conscious cyclist. Products\n that are built to last, rather than\n driven by profit.
\nIt was not long after we started on\n this journey that I suffered a life\n changing car accident that left me\n with ongoing and severe chronic\n pain. Cycling became both a coping\n mechanism and a tool to manage my\n pain long term. Our purpose became\n even more clear – we wanted to use\n TIC CC as a platform to encourage\n self-empowerment and positive\n living.

\n \n Everything we do – from\n using high-end recycled\n fabrics to using suppliers\n that are closer to home –\n helps to create a more\n responsible product.

TIC CC is an online brand with a\n global presence, but the UK and\n Europe are our biggest markets.\n However, when Brexit happened, we\n started to experience some real issues\n with our European deliveries. As a\n small company, we just didn’t have\n the finances or infrastructure to cope\n with all the changes. We were\n desperately looking for a shipping\n company that could help us.
\nI’d almost given up when I came\n across SAMOS. They’ve been amazing.\n Not only have they helped us continue\n trading with Europe, but their service – compared to other delivery\n companies that I’ve used – is\n outstanding.

We tried the type of shipping where\n customers paid all the import fees,\n and they weren’t happy. Now, thanks\n to SAMOS, we can continue to deliver\n to Europe and our trade has become\n frictionless. That is really important,\n especially as some of our European\n customers feel dubious about buying\n from a UK brand now. It’s helped to\n reinstate trust.
