Way before the UK left the EU in January 2021 we were busy planning a solution knowing that EU parcel shipping was about to hit a brick wall, and it did. So we brought our solution to life.** Since then, our EU parcel service has flourished and built a strong reputation for being the best of its kind. Its hybrid, some would say quirky, but it works brilliantly. When we created this service, we understood the problems that required a solution. We ensured certain criteria were met creating the ultimate solution to all post-Brexit EU parcel delivery problems. [\#](#content-1-the-eu-delivery-experience-solution "Permalink")1. The EU Delivery Experience Solution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We started off with the receiver’s - your customer’s - delivery experience. We wanted this to be the same as it was before the UK left the EU. Our solution means parcels just get delivered. No VAT, no duty, or any other local handling fees to pay before delivery. Only this kind of service will encourage repeat business and brand loyalty by giving your EU customers the confidence to buy from you, and come back for more. The EU VAT Solution ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The only way to ensure that your customer has no VAT to pay on delivery is to either have an IOSS number or reverse the import VAT back to you, the UK shipper. We do both, and unlike other parcel and mail delivery companies we don’t surcharge you for reversing the VAT back to you. This way, all charges including VAT are completely dealt with at checkout stage with your customer. No surprise charges for anyone. [\#](#content-3-the-eu-customs-issue-solution "Permalink")3. The EU Customs Issue Solution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We understand that you struggle with shipping certain items into the EU or to specific EU member states, and that customs issues can often be to blame. With our solution, we route and clear EU parcels in a very specific way. This means our exposure to customs issues are immeasurably reduced. We have virtually no customs issues on our service. A shipping rate, and possibly 3 or 4 additional charges for clearance, DDP, fuel, and the list goes on. It’s making you less competitive.
